Feisty Donald Duck 90th Anniversary

June 9, 1934: Disney Donald Duck makes his first appearance in the animated film, “Wise Little Hen,” and a star is born. Witty dial artwork by Disney artist Jeff Shelly shows the devilish side of Donald Duck wreaking havoc on the silver-tone numerals.
