Since 2020, Mido has marked Día de Muertos with a new Special Edition each year. For 2026 the tradition moves to the TV-shaped Multifort case for the first time, and introduces the Alebrijes — the fantastical creatures of Mexican imagination — to the dial. A radiant Calavera sits at the centre, surrounded by Alebrijes rendered in twelve lacquers. Then the lights go down, and three different colours of Swiss Super-LumiNova® reveal a second dial that simply isn't there in daylight.

Why this one matters

• Seventh annual Día de los Muertos edition — and a first in two ways: the first to use the Alebrijes motif, and the first on the TV-shaped Multifort case. Previous years were Commander models.
• A dial that changes after dark. Three colours of Swiss Super-LumiNova® reveal details invisible in daylight. This is the one thing the standard grey-dial Multifort TV cannot do.
• Twelve lacquers used on the Calavera and Alebrijes artwork.
• The Big Date “1” is shaped like a bone. The kind of detail you only notice on the second look.
• Three straps in the box — satin steel bracelet, red textured rubber and Milanese mesh, all 22mm quick-release. Two more than the standard model includes.
• Produced for the 2026 season only. When the series moves on next year, this one is not coming back.
