The Rolex Yacht-Master is a relatively new addition to the brand's professional series, coming to market in the early 1990s. Like every model in Rolex's tool watch catalog, the Yacht-Master was developed with a specific niche in mind - sailing. Its design set always includes a waterproof Oyster case, a Perpetual movement with self-winding, and a bi-directional 60-minute bezel with a 10-minute regatta countdown. The Yacht-Master always exudes a high level of class and sophistication. As such, it always includes precious metal somewhere on the bracelet or case. Ref. 116622 is presented in what Rolex refers to as "Rolesium," a handsome blend of 904L Oystersteel and 950 platinum.
